The conference of the International Islamic Federation of Student Organizations (IFSU) titled “International Leadership Summit-2024” was held in Istanbul, Turkey on Monday, October 21. Representatives of 48 countries including Britain, America, Egypt, Asia, Europe, Africa, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh participated in this conference. Muslim students and youth leaders from different countries of the world addressed the conference.
Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar spoke on behalf of the Bangladeshi delegation. He said in his speech, "The students and youth of Bangladesh have played a strong role in the recent political pot-change in Bangladesh. Deep patriotism and extreme bravery of the youth community of Bangladesh has emerged through this popular uprising. They showed the world how to win against tyrants and fascism, how to fight for freedom. Basically, the students of Bangladesh were the center point of this movement. Bangladesh has been freed from fascism due to their sacrifices and bloods.
As the representative of Bangladesh in today's conference, we hope that the Muslim youth, and student society of the world will play a courageous role in inviting Islam and establishing peace. They will spread the light of Islam in the world and organize students against all kinds of fascist and tyrannical rulers. They will stand against all injustice, and discrimination. The students and youth community of Bangladesh have already presented this example to the world.
Professor Mia Golam Parwar also said that although the political party had a role in the recent revolution of Bangladesh, this movement was successful only in return for the sacrifice of students and youth. This change in Bangladesh is a lesson for the world. Muslim youth need to increase their skills and abilities to lead the world. For this purpose, Muslim youth should play a leading role in all fields including modern knowledge, science, technology, information technology, media, and IT. Muslim youth should lead the future world based on the acquired and revealed knowledge. Peace cannot be established by man-made doctrines. Islam has no alternative in this regard. Only Islam can establish peace and justice in the world.
He said that IIFSU can play an important role in establishing peace in the war-torn countries. To this end, I think IIFSU is playing an important role in organizing the Muslim youth in the world to create strong leadership. I strongly believe that IIFSU will produce a group of strong leaders in future and will be able to play an significant role in establishing peace across the globe.
