Mia Ghulam Parwar demands Khaleda Zia’s immediate release, due treatment

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’sNayeb-e-Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar has visited Engineers Institution of Bangladesh premise this morning to extend solidarity by participating a token hunger strike demanding the immediate release of BNP Chairperson, 20 party alliance leader and former Prime Minister BegumKhaleda Zia and her proper treatment and condemning the ongoing trial against her in a newly arranged court inside Dhaka old central jail.

Extending support and solidarity to BNP’s token hunger strike program, Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar said, the government is carrying out brutal repression against Begum Khaleda Zia.

Though the court granted her bail but still the government is making tricks not to let her free. But whatever the conspiracy is, the people will not allow anyone to hold the 11th parliamentary polls without the release of Khaleda Zia from jail. I am urging the government to release Begum Khaleda Zia immediately.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s central executive committee member Maulana Abdul Halim, Jamaat Dhaka city South unit’s Assistant Secretary Advocate Dr. Helal Uddin and Bangladesh SramikKollan Federation Dhaka city South Unit President Abdus Salam accompanied Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar in the program.
