Secretary General calls for prosecute the killers of 28th October and the Awami League opportunists inside the administration

Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Professor Mia Golam Parwar demanded to prosecute the killers of the 28th October killing incidents. Besides, the opportunists and the offenders who had taken benefit of the Awami League administration must be tried as well.

He said this while addressing a members’ conference organized by Narail District Jamaat-e-Islami at Narail District Shilpakala Academy on Saturday (28 September).

Secretary General said, "The fascist Awami League government has made the administration party-oriented. The Awami brokers and opportunists, who are playing tricks in the administration should be identified and removed from their position and subsequently to be brought to justice immediately. They have destroyed the country's economy through unprecedented looting. By the grace of Allah, Sheikh Hasina left the country because of the student movement. As a result, 18 crore people of Bangladesh became free from clutches of the tyrant. Almighty Allah has given us the opportunity to speak freely after 16 years. We call upon all the countrymen to turn the dreams of the martyrs into reality and also to build a beautiful Bangladesh in the future.

Speaking as a special guest at the conference, Jamaat-e-Islami’s central executive council member and Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mubarak Hossain said, "Following the independence of August 5, an environment has been created for Jamaat-e-Islami in Bangladesh to expand its activities. In the changing situation, the people of Bangladesh are ready to give the responsibility of ruling the country to Jamaat-e-Islami.”
