Secretary General provides financial assistance to flood victims in Dumuria of Khulna district

Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar said, "Despite the presence of flooding in this region for a long time, no necessary steps have been taken by the government. A pro-people government to be elected to resolve the water-clogging crisis. A people friendly government is required who will deal with public issues without making any sort of corruption, misdeeds and injustices.

He said this while addressing a program in Dumuria Upazila of Khulna district financial assistances were provided to flood victims on Tuesday. Upazila Ameer Maulana Moktar Hossain presided over the program which was hosted by Upazila secretary Maulana Habibur Rahman. Among others, Jamaat's central working council member and Khulna region's assistant coordinator Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Khulna City Ameer Professor Mahfuzur Rahman, Khulna District Ameer Maulana Jmran Hussain, District Secretary Munsi Mizanur Rahman and others spoke on the occasion.

Professor Mia Golam Parwar said, “Awami fascists and their allies are still in the administration. They should be removed immediately. If not, there is a fear that the the student revolution will fail. Because Awami fascists have continued national and international conspiracy. We have to work unitedly to counter all their conspiracies.”

Addressing the administration, he said, “Try to understand the language of the people. You should serve the people. Your salary is paid from the taxes of the people. Treat them well. Do work to solve their problems.”

Golam Parwar said, "There is a syndicate, constituted by the friends of Awami fascism are still functioning in the market. If these syndicates can be broken, it is possible to reduce the price of goods. These influential syndicates want to make the people stand against the government from their resentment by increasing the prices of commodities. Everyone should build resistance against this syndicate.”
