Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has said that the suffering and pain of the martyrs’ families who have lost their dearest members in the recent uprising has become the suffering of the people of the entire country. The wives have sacrificed their partners and the only earner of the families for the country. In this new Bangladesh, we expect state-recognized honor for every martyr of this student revolution. The blood of hundreds of martyrs has enriched this soil. We have to make efforts so that Bangladesh can be built in the upcoming days in accordance with the dreams of these martyrs. Their little children have lost their fathers, many people have become bereaved losing their beloved children. These families are extremely worried about their future. We believe that the current interim government will stand by these martyrs. Jamaat-e-Islami cannot sit as a benevolent organization, Jamaat cannot play a passive role in this crucial situation. We do have responsibility for the families of these martyred brothers and sisters. From such responsibility, we stand by the families of martyrs and injured.

Every family is demanding justice for the killers. All murderers must be brought to book to ensure country’s progress. Access to justice is a fundamental right of every citizen. On behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami, we are assuring every martyr's family that we will be by your side in any need.
Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said, our new generation has proved with their lives that they are always ready to make the highest sacrifice to meet the need of the nation, particularly in times of crisis. These youths accepted martyrdom with a smile and taught us that injustice and untruth never last forever. He urged everyone to remain ready always in order to protect the independence and sovereignty of the country.
Nurul Islam Bulbul said, if the nation is united, anything impossible can be achieved, the students' uprising has proved it once again. Various conspiracies are going on to thwart the victory of the students. The fascist and hegemonic force are trying to continue their ill-deeds. So conscious countrymen should always be united to keep the victory of glory intact.
