Japan’s former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe assassinated; Jamaat Ameer condoles

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 9th July 2022 expressing deep shock at the assassination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Japan's former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was killed after he was shot twice while he was giving a speech on a street in the city of Nara on 8th July morning. He was immediately taken to the hospital but he took his last breath over there. We are condemning this barbaric act of murder severely.

The people of Bangladesh and the world community are shocked and saddened at the assassination of Shinzo Abe. It was a cowardice and hatred act. His murderers are the enemies of humanity. Japan lost a great leader at his death.

In this crucial period, we are extending sympathy to his family and the citizens of Japan.
