Dinajpur district Jamaat leader passes away; Jamaat Ameer condoles

Former Nayeb-e-Ameer and Secretary of undivided Dinajpur district, veteran politician and noted lawyer Advocate Md. Abul Kashem died on 13th September at the age of 90. Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. He was suffering from various old age complications. He has left his wife, two sons, two daughters and many other relatives. His Namaj-e-Janaja was held at the Shaheed Maidan of the district. Jamaat’s central organizing secretary and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s assistant coordinator Maulana Momtaz Uddin led the prayer. Dinajpur district’s former Ameer and Chirir Bandar Upazila’s former chairman Aftab Uddin Molla, Dinajpur north district Ameer Principal Anisur Rahman, Dinajpur south district Ameer Anwarul Islam and thousands of people attended the prayer.

Message of condolence

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 13th September 2022 at the death of noted lawyer Advocate Md. Abul Kashem.

In the condolence message, Jamaat Ameer said, veteran politician and noted lawyer Advocate Md. Abul Kashem has discharged many important responsibilities. He was the secretary and Nayeb-e-Ameer of the undivided Dinajpur district. He served the organization sincerely. We lost a great preacher at his demise. He has worked relentlessly to establish a just society. He has an important role in spreading Islam and the Islamic spirit in Dinajpur. I am expressing deep shock and condolence at his death.

May Allah forgive and bless upon him. May Allah forgive his sins and turn it into pieties. May Allah make his eternal journey easier and more comfortable. May Allah bless him with Jannah. May Allah bless his family to hold patience in this time of bereavement.

In another joint statement, Dinajpur district’s former Ameer and Chirir Bandar Upazila’s former chairman Aftab Uddin Molla, Dinajpur north district Ameer Principal Anisur Rahman, Nayeb-e-Ameer Advocate Mahbubur Rahman Bhutto, district Secretary Maulana Rabiul Islam, Dinajpur city Ameer Sirajus Salehin said, noted lawyer Advocate Md. Abul Kashem has tried to lead his life according to the rules of Islamic Shariah. He has an important role in spreading Islam and the Islamic spirit. We are expressing deep shock and condolence at his death. May Allah bless him with Jannah. May Allah bless his family to hold patience in this time of bereavement.
