Jamaat Ameer signs the condolence book to commemorate late Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jaber al-Sabah

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman visited the Kuwait embassy in Dhaka on 1 October 2020 morning to sign the condolence book which has been opened to commemorate Late Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah. Jamaat Ameer also prayed for the departed soul of the late Kuwaiti ruler.

During the occasion, Jamaat Ameer said, “May Allah forgive and bless the late Emir of Kuwait and award him with protection and peace. May Allah accept him as His distinguished guest and expand his grave. May Allah accept all his noble deeds to bless him with Jannah.

Ameer-e-Jamaat also met the high officials of the Kuwait embassy in Dhaka and through them he conveyed his greetings and felicitations to the new Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah.

At that time, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, hopefully the people of Kuwait will be able to overcome this pain shortly. He further hoped that, like the previous occasions, the biliteral relationship between Bangladesh and Kuwait will be strengthened in future under the leadership of the new Emir of Kuwait.
