Jamaat Ameer expresses condolences on the death of Hafeza Asma Khatun

Former secretary of the women's wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, former member of the National Assembly Hafeza Asma Khatun passed away at 3:45 am on January 20 due to old age complications (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un) at the age of 90. She is survived by 2 sons, 2 daughters and 13 grandchildren.

Condolence message

Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman issued a condolence message on January 20 expressing deep sorrow over the death of Hafeza Asma Khatun.

In the condolence message, he said that former secretary of the women's wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, former member of the National Assembly, a noble woman, and highly respected Hafeza Asma Khatun has completed her worldly journey and started her afterlife journey.

Jamaat Ameer further said that, for a long time, she has fulfilled this sacred responsibility with great devotion as the Women's wing Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. Her uninterrupted journey as a preacher of religion in almost every town of Bangladesh has inspired the women of this country to comply the religion of Allah Almighty and has created enthusiasm among them to know and follow the religion of Islam. Above all, the contributions of the deceased have attracted many women to the Islamic movement. Her work, her dawah will continue to attract women towards the religion of Allah Almighty for many years to come.

Jamaat Ameer said, May Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, forgive her humanly mistakes and shortcomings. May Allah bestow mercy on her, help her in this new journey with His angels of mercy. May Allah accept her services and bestow complete blessings on her and accept her as a guest of Jannatul Firdaus.

May Allah grant patience and solace to all, including the children, relatives, loved ones, and party colleagues of the deceased. Ameen.
