Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former member of the Parliament Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 16th December, 2023 expressing deep shock and condolence at the death of Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

“We are expressing deep shock and condolence at the death of Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. Along with the people of Kuwait, the people of Bangladesh are also saddened and shocked at his death. The Muslim community lost a guardian at his demise. He has played significant role in resolving various crises of the Muslim world. He also assisted in improving the bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and Kuwait. He will be remembered for his humanitarian and positive role in handling multiple regional issues.

May Allah accept all his services and bless him with Jannah. I am extending my deep sympathy to the people of Kuwait, the new Emir, his royal families and relatives.”

Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer greets the new Emir of Kuwait

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former member of the Parliament Professor Mujibur Rahman has greeted the newly declared Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Sabah.

In a message of greetings, Acting Ameer said, on behalf of the people of Bangladesh and our beloved organization, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, I am extending my greetings to the new Emir of Kuwait.

I hope that under the dynamic leadership of the new Emir, Kuwait will proceed towards progress, prosperity and success in the days to come. He will play active role of strengthen the relationship between Kuwait and Bangladesh and the Muslim world. We are expecting his sincere role in resolving the crises of the Muslim world, particularly of the Middle East.

I am wishing for his good health, long life and overall success.”
