Courtesy meeting held between Jamaat leaders and the Ambassador of Mongolia

On the evening of Friday, 12 December, the Non-Resident Ambassador of Mongolia, Ganbold Dambayav, paid a courtesy call on the Nayeb-e-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former Member of Parliament, Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher. The Ambassador was accompanied by the Honorary Consul General of Mongolia in Bangladesh, Nasrin Fatema Awal.

The meeting was held in a very cordial and friendly atmosphere, during which the constructive role of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in various democratic movements, including the Mass Uprising of ’24, was highlighted.

Both the sides expressed hope that development, progress, and issues of mutual bilateral interest between the two countries would be further strengthened in the future.

At that time, Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former Member of Parliament, Mia Golam Porwar; Central Executive Council member Saiful Alam Khan Milon and Mobarak Hossain were also present.
