This morning, on 4 December (Thursday), Ms. Huma Khan, Head of the Dhaka Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, paid a farewell visit to Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere at the Jamaat Ameer’s office in Bashundhara. Jamaat Ameer's Advisor on Foreign Affairs Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan was present at that time.

During the meeting, the Jamaat Ameer conveyed his best wishes for Ms. Huma Khan in facing her upcoming challenges and praised her role in Bangladesh.

Ms. Huma Khan expressed hope that the human rights situation in Bangladesh will see further improvement in the future.
