Central Majlish-e-Shura calls to launch movement against paganism-oriented outlandish educational system

A meeting of the central Majlish-e-Shura of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was held with party’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman in the chair. The meeting protested paganism mixed pro-atheism education and culture, which has been imposed upon the nation by the government. The meeting adopted a proposal in this regard which states that,

“Our country is a Muslim majority country. But the incumbent government, in the name of secular educational policy, has launched a paganism mixed pro-atheism educational policy. They have been plotting conspiracy for last 15 years to destroy the faith and beliefs of the Muslim community. But the countrymen will never accept such outlandish education.

Whenever Awami League comes into the power, they try to impose some ill-culture and education upon the nation. Their conspiracy to eradicate Islamic elements and values from the educational system will be failed. Education is the backbone of a nation. To make a nation civilized, its educational system must be built on the basis of morality and ideology. Right now, the young generations are being destroyed due to social malpractices and various crimes. Educational institutes, even the teachers have become ruined because of the negative impact of secular and irreligious educational system. Majlish-e-Shura recommends to build a generation based on moral and ideological values.

The incumbent government is not only destroying the general educational system but also the Madrasa system as well. They are appointing teachers of other religion in the Islamic religious school, popularly known as Madrasah. Ill-cultural activities are being practiced in the schools as well. Islamic chapters and issues have been deleted from the curriculum whereas idolatry and lesson of associating partner with God is being taught at several levels. Students are being taught outlandish and alien cultures of greetings. Muslim students are not making aware of halal (recommended and approved by Islam) and haram (prohibited by Islam). Transgender issues are being promoted in the school lesson plan as well.

In this backdrop, the Central Majlish-e-Shura of Jamaat-e-Islami urges the countrymen to launch movement against paganism-oriented outlandish educational system.
