Dhaka south city Jamaat’s members’ workshop held

We must be colored with the color of the Quran to tackle the existing challenges, says Professor Mujibur Rahman

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman has said, the success of the hereafter is the real success for a believer. Worldly facilities should not be our concern. As a member of Jamaat-e-Islami, we should lead a life prioritizing the hereafter. We should be loyal to Almighty Allah and His messenger in all aspects. We should have full trust upon Allah to work in the field. We must be colored with the color of the Quran to tackle the existing challenges. Jamaat members have to personify all qualities of a believer to present themselves as a model Muslim for others.

He said this while addressing a workshop of the members organized by Dhaka south city Jamaat-e-Islami as the chief guest today. Jamaat’s central executive committee member and Dhaka south city Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul presided over the workshop which was conducted by city secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud. Jamaat’s Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar, Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Hamidur Rahman Azad, Maulana Abdul Halim and central executive committee member Principal Ijjat Ullah addressed the workshop as the special guests. Among others, Jamaat’s central Majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka south city Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdus Sabur Fakir and Advocate Dr. Helal Uddin, Dhaka south city Jamaat’s Assistant secretary Delwar Hossain, Muhammad Kamal Hossain and Dr. Abdul Mannan, Dhaka south city Jamaat’s working committee member Advocate S M Kamal Uddin, Dr. Mobarak Hossain, and Abdus Salam were present on the occasion.

Professor Mia Golam Porwar said, taking oath is an important feature of Islam. To attain success, Baiyah is very necessary. The members are the main forces of this organization. As a member, we should be loyal to Allah and His messenger. We should be humble and modest and avert all types of ego. The obligation of establishing Islam is mandatory. So, Jamaat members have to work sincerely to facilitate Islamic movement.

Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said, family is the first unit of human life. Every individual is a part of a family. Family is the key unit of a society. A nation cannot be built without a society and a society is impossible without a family. This is why, Islam considers family very significantly. We have to build our families in an Islamic way to save them from hellfire.

Hamidur Rahman Azad said, Jamaat-e-Islami is a crucial factor in the political arena of Bangladesh. But to implement Jamaat’s ideology, we have to work comprehensively and in a planned way. Every manpower has to demonstrate their skills in their respective sector. For a successful revolution, we have to produce qualified leadership. Jamaat men have to work for the benefit of the people.

Maulana Abdul Halim said, Al Quran has been revealed to guide humanity. We may face trial and tribulations. But we have to overcome those crises with patience. As a member of the Islamic movement, we have to exhibit the highest example of loyalty and sacrifice. We have to remain active in all conditions to expedite the victory of the Islamic movement.

Nurul Islam Bulbul said, we have organized this workshop with the members to make them skill workforce. As a sincere and dedicated Muslim, we should build ourselves in a way so that we can attain the satisfaction of Almighty Allah. The victory of Islam will be secured more if we can connect ourselves with the spirits and characteristics of Islam. We should appear as a pro-people personality. We will strengthen the activities of the movement in all areas of Dhaka south city. The efforts of the movement should be carried out through the process of sacrifices and rectification.
