Central executive committee member and Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mobarak Hossain stated that Jamaat has been working to execute its plan of building a self-dignified and prosperous Bangladesh. Jamaat has specific plan to build this nation. Main purpose of the activities of Jamaat-e-Islami is to ensure betterment of the humanity. From such perspective, Jamaat-e-Islami has been distributing items to facilitate the empowerment of the people. We are here today to meet the same purposes. We are helping you to become self-reliant. We hope you will be trustworthy to our delivered items. We are also expecting that this assistance will remove your crisis. You should train your family members with the knowledge of Quran and Hadith along with the materialistic knowledge. You should build your family as an ideal family.
He said this while addressing a battery-run van distribution program among the helpless communities today. Jessore east organizational unit of Jamaat-e-Islami organized the event. These programs took place in 5 Upazilas of the district. Among others, noted labor leader and district’s Sramik Kollan Federation President Maulana Abdul Malek Khan, Advocate Taj Uddin Ahmed and lecturer Habibur Rahman and others were present on the occasion.
He said, Bangladesh is a land of economic potentials. The soil of this country is very fertile. By using agro-based technology and through sustainable plans, a self-reliant Bangladesh can be built. Besides, we have lots of manpower. If we can make these people skilled then they many turn into productive community. They will not suffer from unemployment and crisis.
People gets involved with misdeeds and anti-social activities if they do not have any work. They often get addicted that creates mismanagement in the society. To free the nation from the curse of unemployment, more working opportunities should be created. The government is primarily responsible for creating such opportunities. Besides, the solvent quarters should take some effective rule. Zakah-based economic system will make the case easier for the government as well.
