The honourable Ex Prime Minister, Leader of the opposition and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia was present in the Iftar Mahfil.

On July 13, 2010 Police arrested Muhammad Kamaruzzaman and Abdul Quader Molla, Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami (BJI) from the High Court premise. Maqbul Ahmad, acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and acting Secretary General ATM Azharul Islam, issued a statement in this regard.
