A leguna collided with a truck in Dorbost area of Sylhet-Tamabil highway that left 6 members of a same family killed. To extend sympathy towards them and also to visit the injured, Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman went to Sylhet's AMG Osmani Medical College Hospital. At that time, he console the mournful families and tried to know about the treatment procedure.

During the visit, Jamaat's Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ahasanul Mahaboob Zubayer, Sylhet south district Ameer Professor Abdul Hannan, Sylhet north district Ameer Hafez Anwar Hossain Khan, Sylhet city Jamaat's Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Suhel Ahmed, Secretary Mohammad Shahjahan Ali and north district secretary Zainal Abedin.

All the victims belong to the minority community. They were going altogether to attend a marriage ceremony. The deceased are: Mongoli Patra, Sabitri Patra, Shuchitra Patra, her 6 month-old baby Bijl, Ritu Patra and Shamla Patra.
