On 5th February of 2010, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami arranged a national conference for the district Majlish-e-Shura member at the Institution of Diploma Engineers auditorium of the capital. Shaheed Maulana Matiur Rahman Nizami presided over the conference. While Shaheed Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid hosted the program.
