Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmad has issued the following message of condolence on 24th October, 2016 over the death of former Emir of Qatar Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani on last 23rd October.

“I am expressing my deep shock and condolence at the death of former Emir of Qatar Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani. He had served Qatar for long 23 years as a popular Emir from 1972 to 1995. He had served his nation as well as the Muslim Ummah profoundly. May Almighty Allah accept all his noble and benevolent deeds to bless him with Jannah.

I am extending deep sympathy to his mournful family and to the government and people of our friendly nation Qatar. May Allah strengthen them to tolerate this huge shock.”
